The Scene
Although many have tried, Kielty's is the only area pub that looks like the ones in the Emerald Isle. Kielty's brings an unmatched authenticity to its surroundings, complete with a welcoming hearth and the clock set to Dublin Standard Time. The mixed crowd ranges from 21 to 81.
The Booze
Kielty's transcends the usual Celtic ales and stouts by offering their own Bailey's-like Irish cream. The pub is also an Official Guinness Toast Site.
While You're There
Kielty's menu features sandwiches, finger foods, and corned beef and cabbage specials. Keep in mind the friendly warning that "Specials can change in the blink of an eye or on the whim of one of our resident Leprechauns."

Kielty's is Waterford's gem. It is the Emerald Isle afterall. Waterford is quickly becoming popular among up-and-comings as well. This restaurant and bar is quaint, but the food will never let you down. And let me tell you, I am a self-proclaimed and deemed by others as a "food snob". If you want some good greasy food, go here. The best burger, the best grilled cheese you ever had, and the best fish and chips in the capital region, easy, are found at Kieltys. The beer on tap always tastes great (they must clean their taps out, as that can be a problem in so many bars). Order a Smithwicks and enjoy... the service is always prompt and they are always so friendly. A+ in my book.
