Very shady dealership, dealt with them for a week and not once were they honest with me. It took me asking the SALES MANAGER 4 times 2 different calls and txts to get an answer on my APR, and the final price of the vehicle. He wouldn't listen or work with me on anything. We came up with a final deal price and I drove 40 miles to get there and he changed the deal we had established 50 minutes before I came in. I felt uncomfortable there, they kept trying to shove the deal down my throat and wouldn't give me the air or space I needed. As soon as they got my number they called me the next day and because I didn't answer the phone call, within seconds they sent me 3-4 text messages. So if you don't answer your phone they'll text the crap out of you. Linsay is a head sales person nice to you face, but once I said I wanted to talk this over with my fiance she wanted to cram there own financing down my throat, which I already had my own. After that the shady creepy tuby sales manager mike was of no use and wanted to do nothing but argue with me and try and force me into the deal he wanted that was best for him, claiming " I'm trying to help you out" but wouldn't listen to me for anything. It was as if my opinion didn't matter and they both wanted to shove a deal down my throat that was going to make a 12,000 car cost me 21,000, with all the added crap they wanted to add in there. I recommend don't even give them the chance, because once they get your number they are all over you and want to make you buy a car asap and get you in the car that same day so you don't know how bad you get screwed until you pay your first bill. Please watch yourself and be careful dealing with these shady people.
Really goes out of their way to help you. I've never bought a car here but always get my service done on two non-Honda vehicles and have had no complaints! Great coffee area with Villa Italia pastries, a children's area, tvs & magazines to keep you busy if you do have to spend some time there. Everyone was very friendly!
Mohawk Honda has moved to Scotia NY. They have doubled the facility size with 22 service bays,a 12 car climate contolled service drive in,8 car showroom 5 acres of parking,easy to get to right on Rt 50 and Freemans Bridge Rd,Villa Italia Bakery in the waiting area,Childrens area with computers ,books and a TV,50 seat waiting area,350 new Hondas and 100 preowned cars allowing great deals and selection and as always an award winning staff that goes out of their way to please you!
Used to be great now they stink!!!. they used to be great dealer and i always bring my car every time if its in oil change or some minor problem but lately seems like they are not doing their job right i went one time to fix my car and found out that they only did the oil change and never replace the part that im complaining all about and yet they bill me without replacing the parts i think they are loosing their grip on this im switching now to a different dealer they just lost a one loyal customer and believe me most of my friends will follow.
Called me a liar, unresponsive and not good to deal with. They did not tell is the truth and called is liars three years later, uncaring they only want a sale.
MOHAWK HONDA IS THE BEST DEALERSHIP IN THE CAPITAL AREA. I have purchased 4 cars from Mohawk Honda. They are far and away the best dealership in the Capital District. Sales staff is professional while friendly. The service department has always been experienced and helpful. I love the new location and it is easy to get to from any location. I would highly recommend giving Mohawk Honda a try; you won't be disappointed.
Not your average experience. I've never walked into an establishment of this kind before and felt so comfortable. That's what it is at Mohawk Honda. The salesmen, the service advisors, the managers; no one is too good to stop and say hello, or ask you how your day is and of course help you find your way. I haven't been to too many dealerships that will bake you cookies and hand deliver them to your seat as you wait for your car (with a smile none the less.) That's what makes it 5 star and nothing less, it's the service. Your never going to find a place that every tideous detail goes off without a hitch, because to err is human. It's how those err's are handled. And for that reason Mohawk Honda is and ALWAYS will be my Honda dealer and service shop.
Not a good experience with the service department. The service department is terrible. I'll never know how the sales department is because I never intend on buying a car there, because then I would need to use the service department.
