not as bad as the hype. After I read all the bad reviews I felt it was my responsibility to make a comment about this place. I've gone to a lot of places in Clifton Park and out of all the places I've noticed that Sunsations: the only place I can get a good tan without upgrading to a more expensive bed (they are constantly changing bulbs), one of the only places that doesnt have hidden fees explained to you after you've chosen to sign up. I went to St Croix solely because it had a $20 a month sign in the window and I only came home on university breaks and ended up having to pay an extra $20 to sign up. Besides when signing on for a package I've never been encouraged to buy lotion- a lot of salons work on commission or have some incentive to sell so you are going to get that at any tanning salon. As for the unfriendly workers, I have experienced that and there really is no excuse for that but I know better than to have a snotty teenager ruin my day and the manager is so sweet it almost makes up for them.

the blonde ur talkin about is andrea. shes always there and she is a huge loser who nobody likes in cp.. dirty, barely clean beds. bulbs always burn you. spiders. last time i went they put me in for 14 instead of 8 and my face peeled for days. i wont go back.

um. rude employees. There is a blonde working at the front desk almost every time I go in here. Either she's on the phone or scowling... its unpleasant. Also when one of the girls asked her to get my change from the drawer for her.. the blonde practically threw my money at me. I wasn't impressed. i won't be returning.

Not Very Clean. I have been to other tanning salons and this one doesn't even come close. All they want to do is sell their products and it is not very clean.

I would not recommend it at all.

Above and Beyond. There are many great tanning salons in the region but only one gives you the best value and customer service, Sunsations of Clifton Park. Vanessa and her staff take the time to get to know there customers by name and always make you feel welcome. Their smiles compare in brightness to the bulbs you tan with. I can`t endorse this place enough, you`ll get more color for your cash and the friendliest surroundings anywhere. One other great thing about Sunsations is that there are quite a few and I`m sure that they are all first rate. I can also vouch for Melissa and her staff in Guilderland. You can`t really go wrong with this outfit, they seem to know that customer service and a fair price can go hand in hand. Please don`t take my word for it, give it a try. You`ll be happy you did.
