If you're looking for under age drinking here's your place!. Elda's does not ID which I think is crazy for being such an "upscale" restaurant. They are over priced and the faces are ALWAYS changing. I have gone on several occasions, and my 16 YEAR OLD NEICE was served alcohol! Someone should bust Elda and her bartenders for not ID'ing!

Poor Service, Poor Food. Service at Elda's On Lark make the customer feel unwanted and inconvenient. The food is over-priced and tasteless. I ate the salmon special. Nothing more than a sliver of bland fish on a bed of spinach in dire need of salt, drowning in an overly peppered flavorless wine sauce. Within a few hours I was violently ill.

slow deterioration. Faces change so quickly at Elda's one begins to believe the stories about her.

Then you finally witness one of her "outlashes" and the whole place loses its lustre.

She has a way of loving you and alienating you at the same time. I've about lost

my hope that she will learn what good business practices entail.

disappointed and shocked. I've recently have dined at this restaurant (my 3rd attempt..visit) I have enjoyed the food here, but have dread returning for the 3rd time. 1st time I went on recommendations for a date... long wait and ridiculously over priced! Went a 2nd time because a bunch of my friends insisted this time would be better... also very disappointed was charged for 10 drinks I bought only 2 plus a round for my friends (there was 4). The "owner" claimed I was wrong and that I must of drank to much to remember... I only had 2 mind you. The 3rd time I really was not looking forward to it, but went because my boss and co-workers invited me... and you know how that is, had to go. Well 3 times is not a charm its was even worst then the 1st 2 times! "eldas" the owner is two faced... she was very nice and greeted me after the 20 mins wait to be seated (place was dead) however as soon as she went back to her spot at the bar. I over heard her yelling at her bartender, looked heated and the owner then pulled her aside... bartender returned behind the bar and then asked a few of the people at the bar to buy another drink or to leave. "I gasp in horror" No longer will I return to eat or drink here. I would agree with the last review "stay away"

Disappointed. Disappointed in the customer service from the owner, This restaurant would do well if it had better management. Owner asked my friends and myself to leave if weren't going to buy more drinks after spending 50 at the bar and wanted to just chat after closing out our tabs.

This quiet corner on lark, boast an extremly romantic and private vibe...... This quiet corner on lark, boast an extremely romantic and private vibe while still maintaining a good selection of foods and wines, with realistic pricing to boot.Thats it in a nut shell.

Hers more if you are interested.

In the five years i quietly patronized the establishment. Sometimes Elda herself sits in the far corner , like a loving mother watching over her children playing.

Birthdays, anniversaries, Special occasions , First time dates, no matter the occasion, you'll enhance your mood at Elda's.

The menu has every category covered, but surprisingly the seafood is the best ive ever had. The largest shrimp served reside here. and the clams and mussels are never over cooked. I recommend the "au fruti de mare"(a bed of linguini mixed in a lobster sauce, with clams mussels shrimp and un-breaded calamari.)A Pinot Grigio goes well with this meal. Don't like wine? try the chocolate martini.

Menu is flexible, they can make dishes not presently being served. Who needs large groups? Come here to getaway from the world and it will feel like just the two of us. Still quiet on my Birthday, even thought the other room was having a Obama Barrack fund raising. I still felt like i was dining privately. Love the window view, its a bit drafty, dress warm in winter.Parking is crammed but is expected when visiting Lark st. at night. Not trendy enough? go to Maguires across the street, and pay double price, for a loud college bar atmosphere.

Great food and even better service!. Elda's is a great restaurant to share a romantic dinner with a significant other. I was amazed by the service and by the price of some of the entrees. With such great service I expected to see extremely high priced dishes which wasn't the case. I may be new to the Capital Region but I will continue to recommend Eldas as one of my favorite Italian Restaurants.

Over priced. Atmosphere is excellent but the food is overpriced. A steak special was $50.

Service was excellent.
