Horrible. I had been going to this place for a few years. I found a woman who did my hair exactly the way I wanted it, every single time I went. Not just when she was having a good day, but ALLthe time.Well, She along with about half of their staff, left and then they refused to tell me any more than "she doesn't do hair anymore, we are going to re-asign you with someone else" Well, they said it was free so I figured I could save some money this month! She said they were useing my old formula, slapped it on my head and took another person. Someone different shampooed me then I sat and waited as she did another person before she was able to cut my hair. Before she got her scizzors out (thank god!) I realized my roots did not match my hair, they were redish in color and it did NOT cover my greys so it looked like I had pink streaks! It was free, so I said nothing, even though it was very obvious to the hairdresser she said nothing either. I said I didn't need it cut and got out of there. I immediatly went home in search of another new salon. I actually stumbled upon my hairdresser, But, they infact lied to my face in hopes I would stay at their salon.

From my brief experience as a "new" customer I saw girls that seemed to have too many apointments. Everyone is frantically rushing around as quickly as possible. This would be fine I guess if the quality of work wasn't compromised by doing so. When one chooses a Day Spa to have their hair done, it is because they have higher expectations. My expectations were only met because my hairdresser actualy cared about ME and not just my business. Now that she is gone there is no reason for me to put myself through the hassel of going there. The atmosphere is stuffy, nobody seems happy, again, they rush you so when you get home you have something you could've done yourself. I never felt comfortable enough to just walk in there with out doing my hair and make up because of how people looked at me, including other customers. I'm not saying I'd like to roll out of bed and go in, but I'm going there to have someone else make me look good, that's why I pay to have my hair done!

Pedicure. I went to Hair and Body Essential yesterday for a pedicure. I was lucky enough to get a young girl named Ashley. She preformed majic on my feet!!!!! Not only did I get the best pedicure I have ever gotten, but I also enjoyed myself!! Her personality was bubbly and she made me feel so comfortable with my old cursty feet.... I will certainly be back for more, but only if Ashley is available....good job Ashley, I have never written a comment about a servie in my life and its been a long life.......Thank you

Liked for Spa, but not Hair. I have gone to Hair & Body Essentials several times. I enjoy the spa atmosphere. It always has been clean and the ladies at the front desk are very pleasant.

Spa services - I have no complaints. I have mainly purchased facials and waxing here and have received awesome service. Caitlin is a great at facials & extremely pleasant.

Hair services - I have tried to get my hair cut here 3 times by 3 different people. It hasn't worked out very well. The first time was just for adding layers to my long hair (they had grown out) & that was fine. The next time, I had to get my hair fixed by someone else. The third time was a disaster and I actually got a full refund of my money (which was a good thing!).

So, my overall experience is that it is fabulous for spa services, but not so great for haircuts and color.

nice salon. Very nice atmosphere in this salon. Enjoyed the location & hours. Keeps up to date on styles. Prices are pretty standard

great first experience !!!. I received a gift cert. from my husband... was skeptical abuot going to a new place.. but, what a beautiful spa!!!!.. the massage and facial was fantastic. I even got a brazilian for the first time. and the foil and haircut by Dana was just the way I explained..... highly recommend tthis salon and spa... ......

BEST WAX EVER!. Hair and Body Essentials is the #1 place for waxing

I've been to a few places for waxing and this place was by far the greatest experience ever.

Best Brazilian ever!!!

staff is very friendly, and I would definately come back for more services.
