Got Salt?. Valentine's Day dinner. The mixed drink special was delicious ($3.99 was cheap too) as was the cheesecake. At least they weren't salty! The steak and mashed potates were tasty but salty. The plates were nice and hot while the food temp was warm (had to sent m/p back to reheat). Bloomin' onion was lukewarm as well. Caeser salad was drowning in dressing- should have asked for dressing on the side. Waitress very friendly. Would return but not any time soon!

Everything was Perfect!. Just got home from having a great meal. Randy was our waiter, very friendly and stayed on top of everything. We had the Signature sirloin, Chicken & Shrimp, Cheese Fries, soups, salads, bread. We are STUFFED....best meal we've had in quite a while!

What happened to Outback?. We ordered cheese fries, which were $8.50, and they were the size that the 1/2 order used to be. My salad was very cheap, with about 3 tiny tomatoes, mostly iceberg lettuce, very few croutons (which were greasy), and skimpy amount of chicken salad. Also, we ordered a Chocolate Thunder to go and all that was in the bag when we got home was a brownie (that tasted slightly like meat!) and a small scoop of ice cream (which was good).

I used to work for Outback for years and haven't eaten there in a while. I understand that the economy is pretty bad, but they really skimped on the portions! And the quality was just not the same as it used to be...

Australian tchotchkes and brews give this quintessentially American restaurant a distinctive Down Under flavor.. In Short
Boomerangs, Aussie flags, kangaroo portraits and faux aboriginal art honor the homeland's wilderness, but Outback delivers a polished version of rusticity with varnished blond-wood booths with matching wainscoting and casually uniformed waitstaff. Besides more than a half-dozen cuts of steak, diners can pick from large-portioned entrees like ribs, chops and shrimp or chicken "on the barbie." The Bloomin' Onion, a large onion dipped in batter and deep-fried, is an appetizer with a following.
