Our company represents the owners of properties that need management in the city of Albany. On occassion we help out owners that have been wronged by other management companies (usually illegal companies). The tenants typically have a list of maintenance issues due to lack of management. Unfortunately our company ends up being the one blamed in the end. Most tenants are honest folks that are understanding and try to help us transition these properties into a properly managed building. However some folks like the ones below defaming our company , made an agreement with us to extend their lease one month but turned around and did not pay rent and try to get more time in the unit than was agreed too. We are in business and yes we have to maximize profits for our CLIENTS (The property owner gets the money,not us, we get paid in any case). Now EPM does not run around bullying anyone, however staff is certainly are not going to be anyone's emotional punching bag either. The PM business is a very personal business and it can be tough for staff and tenants alike sometimes. Anyone can have a bad. I invite anyone reading these reviews to do a search of the web and look for just one bad review from our clients, IT DOES NOT EXIST. We have never lost a client since the days we opened our doors. Anyone posting bogus information will never post anything showing identity. Instead they make a bunch of false inaccurate claims and hide behind the internet. You can call us anytime. 518-432-7368

I would not recommend renting any properties controlled by Empire Property Management. All of my interactions with owner have been extremely uncomfortable and unprofessional. He has been condescending, rude and belligerent. He has yelled a cursed at me more than once. When talking to men, he seems to not be as erratic and condescending so I would warn woman to be weary of doing business with him. When they took over the apartment we immediately informed him of problems in the apartment that are their responsibility. They ignored our issues for months and rarely return phone calls and emails. We HAVE paid our rent and have tried to work with them but they do not seem willing to discuss things. I would not trust him and suggest that renters look elsewhere.
