They are actually professional plumbers unlike most of the hacks you see in the capital region, and they are backed up by corporate so you know they aren't fly-by-night plumbers! I've used them on two different occasions and was very happy with the service I received.

After calling another plumbing company which I will not name, I had to hire someone else to fix the problem so I called Mr. Rooter. Upon inspection, they immediately knew what the issue was. They gave me an estimate to start, I signed off and he got right to work. The job wasn't easy (my pipes are all back pitched and old galvanized) but he did a good job and got everything cleared. I should have called Mr. Rooter first to save me the trouble!

Great Service. I hate spending money on plumbing but it was time that I got a new hot water tank. I replaced the elements in it about a hundred times plus I have hard water. The valve was pretty shot too and the tank was rusting out the bottom. What sold me was that this company could do it all in the same day, only took them about an hour to do. I'd use these guys again if I had to.

Thumbs Up. I love this company, I've had Mr. Rooter do various work for me at my old home in MA so I was happy to find out that there was a Mr. Rooter near by when I moved to the Cap region. I needed a new toilet and a few old lines replaced and was glad I received the same great service from Mr. Rooter as I did back in MA. I trust doing business with a franchise over an "unknown" company, but that's just how I feel.

the plumber mr. rooter sent out to install my new toilet was very polite and did a good job, i'm glad my husband didn't try to tackle this on his own because the flange(?) was broken and wouldn't have been as simple for us to do ourselves.

I've used Mr. Rooter on two occasions and had a good experience both times. First time was for a new sump pump after we got a ton of rain from Irene, the most recent was to get my septic pumped before winter. Their staff always takes good care of me.

I called Mr. Rooter because my roof. Contracted Mr. Rooter to replace old, leaky cast iron pipes in my basement. They were very courteous and did a clean, professional job. Would recommend!

Please check the BBB complaints before having this company over to your house. I wish I had. There are so many similar complaints of ripping people off by overcharging! They charged double the going price for the work at my home and I had to call their corporate office to get them to come out and fix a leak resulting from their work. Even then it took days to get them to come out. They refuse to give me an itemized bill and even the amount they say they needed to refund me was never given back to me. They are crooks!!! The corporate Mr. Rooter is having all kinds of problems with them as well. Please stay far away from them!
