Just a caution and reminder - no call ahead or reservations. I can never remember going to some of these places whether they have call ahead seating or reservation seating-- but Red Lobster in Colonie does NOT have either. It's first come, first served seating.

I just wanted to let people know incase you were wondering the same thing. :)

Casual crustacean-inspired chain serves up diet-defying seafood dishes in a family-friendly environment.. In Short
Live lobsters wriggle in a tank inside this seafood emporium, where nautical-patterned booths and colorful, fish-shaped tables in the bar area add subdued touches of whimsy to the room's classy dark wood accents. The menu can be downright decadent, with starters of artichoke lobster dip, seafood fondue, and crab-stuffed mushrooms. Entrees feature lighter, grilled fare like mahi-mahi and North Atlantic sea scallops, along with signature lobster dishes, snow crab legs, and jumbo fried shrimp platters.

Good food, but where is it?. Most of the food that I have gotten from Red Lobster has been good, but the service that I had last time I went was awful. The restaraunt was not busy at all, but it still took twenty minutes to recieve my salad! It then took another half hour to get the rest of my food. There was no explanation or apology from my waitress who spent more time gossiping to the bartender then waiting on her only table.
