Best Vet In Las Vegas!!!. We see Dr. Arn every year for our annual exams( we have 4 dogs!) for the last 10 years. When Dr. Arn is not available, we will see other vets in the hospital since we trust them all with the care of our pets. They have always been honest and given us great service for all these years. The staff is always friendly to my family and willing to help us with our needs. My wife and myself have recommended them to our friends for years and we usually run into each other on appointment dates! This is really a family-feeling business in las vegas!
Great service. Great service - great company. I never have to worry about whether things are being done correctly, thoroughly, etc.
Negative Opinions? Hardly! Love this place.
I have recommend Desert Inn AH to alot of my friends over the years, and one had emailed me recently and asked " have you seen the negative reviews of our hospital on line?" I admit I had not ever seen reviews, so we all took a look and could not believe what we saw! The first thing that struck us was how horrible peeple were saying that great hospital was! We all agreed that negative nancys were behind it and decided to let people know the TRUTH! Personnaly I have been with Desert Inn and Dr. Mong and Dr. Lingwall for years and have always had the greatest experiance!!
Does it cost money to own a pet? Of course it does!! But my husband and myself are far from 'rich'. They have always helped us on many occassions to afford the care we so desperatly needed. People just want everything for free now a days..
I know ever employee there has pets of their own.. there is a video of all of them with their pets! These people care for my pets like they do their own! If you were ever in doubt call and ask to tour the hospital!! They love showing it off !! I plan on many more happy years with these caring and generous people in my life as well as my pets!
The worst!!! An absolute nightmare..INCOMPETENT. My poor dog went through a year and a half of misery and my wallet suffered to the tune of thousands..and thousands. When I finally fired Dr. Arn and took took my french bulldog to the vet referral center they figured out in 20 minutes that the only thing she needed was a dosage of prednisone ten times the amount given to her by Dr. Arn. She was fine the very next day!!! This level of incompetence is not acceptable. RUN AWAY from these idiots and save your dogs and pocketbook.
Poor Customer Service. Your staff obviously has issues. It is hard to believe that such an educated group of Veterinarians cannot figure out how unpleasant their hired help is. I am a very tolerant person, but this was ridiculous! Unless you enjoy down-talking, stay as far away as you can!
Uncaring, self centered employees, under qualified vets!. I went here on an emergency visit. During the days my dog had to stay there, I could not get anyone on the phone to give me a straight answer. He seemed to be passed on from vet to vet. They could not give me a diagnosis, yet sent him home. I had to go back! This time a real young Doctor named Taylor I believe told me that my dog of twelve years was going to need a transfusion and he most likely would not make it through the night! I told her I was not leaving then. She said I was not allowed to stay there all night!!!!!! I loaded my dog up and drove as fast as I could to Salt Lake City UT where they have an excellent emergency center. They told me my dog did not need a transfusion! He was treated for a full week in emergency. He had a huge tumor on his intestine, which Desert Inn Animal Hospital did not find after a couple thousand dollars!!!! They told me my dog would not make it through the night. This is the worst Vet hospital I have ever encountered! If you love your pet, I highly recommend you DO NOT go here for any services.
Horrible, non-caring staff, very money hungry!. This place was horrible! I brough my dog in for an emergency visit. Over the next three days, he was passed on from vet to vet. No one could tell me anything. He was then sent home, just to collapse later that night. Brought him back in that night on an emergency visit again. They said they needed to run all the same tests over again that they had just did three days before.
This place is only out for the money.
Took my male cat here due to an obstructed urinary canal. Because of an estimate of $900.00 lowered to$600.00, after I refused to apply for a credit card, because I couldn't afford that much, as I am raising my grandson, I had to have him put down.
Three weeks later my dog strained her back jumping onto my bed, so after a couple days and she was no better I took her to DIAH. After a check up the Vet gave her a shot and some pills for pain. The next day I rushed her back to DIAH because she couldn't breathe. A vet came out to the waiting room and started checking to see how far along she was in labor, I stated she is spayed, which was on her record.
Then after about 30 minutes pasted I saw another Vet and suggested it appears to be an allergic reaction to the meds, he said "no its because you pulled her to hard on a leash or she choked on a ball or food". She hadn't been on a leash in a year, she could barely get the ball in her mouth and she has never choked on food. He then proceeded to tell me he would have to do a "Transfusion to belt out the edema from her lungs". The cost of this would be $1000.00 to $1900.00. Once again, within a three week period I had to have another one of my animals put down because of their extremely high prices. Then two months later a charge appeared on my other dogs chart for a whopping $480.00. There was nothing stating why they were charging me $480.00.
It surely can't be to put a 5lb dog to sleep and saw the Vet for all of 15 minutes out of the 40 minutes I had to wait, after calling in to say I was bringing in an emergency.
I still cry over my babies and feel guilty for not telling them to give me my animals back to taking them someplace else where the Vets care about the animal first and foremost, not the money first and foremost.
Excellent service, BUT little bit expensive !.
I like all staff members and astmosphere, but cost of service is bit expensive.
If you really care your pets , BRING to Desert Inn animal hospital.
People who are really sharp on appointment time, I personally not recommend
this animal hospital. Normally you have to wait at least 15 minutes after your
