Love the food!.
This is one of my favorite restaurants in the area (especially during track season when downtown Saratoga is packed with diners. As a local, it's nice to step away from Broadway during August).
I've eaten here probably more than a dozen times and never had a bad experience. The food is just excellent and I like the little bar area for a happy hour drink or business meeting. I highly recommend the Ripe Tomato.

Great Malta restaurant.
I, like many others, have passed the ripe tomato hundreds of times and finally decided to go in. Right on Rt. 9 in Malta, NY, their location is very convenient for most travelers or locals.
The food and service were excellent and I would say very reasonably priced. The atmosphere is something else! So nice and warm inside this place, I love it!
Whatever you do, go to the Ripe Tomato and find out for yourself!

One of my favorites in Saratoga.
I'll admit that I haven't been there in a while, but I can still taste the tiramisu in my memory. I had my graduation party there about 3 years ago and have since been back once. After reading the other reviews to the Ripe Tomato I thought I'd chime in. I disagree with the reviewer who claims the place is difficult to find. Its just off I87 exit 13S on route 9. I've driven past it more times than I can count going between Clifton Park and Saratoga. The food there is always great. I've tried many of the items personally and haven't found anything I didn't like. As other reviewers have noted the deserts are of particular interest and I have found that the tiramisu is my favorite. I haven't been in a while so I hope they still have that. Anyway, its well worth a trip after the track even though it is often very crowded, you won't be disappointed.

Nice Place.
I've dined here a couple of times. The food is above average and place has a comfortable ambience. Polite and couteous service and reasonably priced. A decent choice.

Geat.
Every time I eat at the Ripe Tomato, I have a great meal. Their fried calamari is the best that I have ever had! I have ordered calamari at many different restaurants, and not one can surpass teh Ripe Tomato. The specials are delicious, as are the items on the menu. If you have room, get dessert, it's worth it! And the prices are very reasonable.

My mouth waters just thinking about it.
Oh how I miss the Ripe Tomato...fabulous ribs, quite possibly the best in the Capital region (sorry, Butcher Block). The staff is very friendly and if you're good, the owner will visit you with a bottle of Zambuca after dinner. The overall value is good to, although the place is a bit hard to find. The restaurant is cozy and not at all pretentious. A good venue for both families (although probably for special occasions) and the romance-seekers. I gladly make the drive from Albany just to visit this place, one of my favorites.

Excellent choice after "the track".
For years I heard people rave about this place, so finally I had to try it out for myself. The food was great, the specials (which is what I had) were fantastic. The prices were reasonable. They had a large assortment of desserts which I was too full to try but they looked great.
