Much Better Options out There. We tried Dakota Steakhouse in the 90s. The waitstaff was pleasant enough. However, we didn't care for the food very much and had no desire to go back. Recently, we decided to give it a second chance. Our opinion has not changed. There will not be a third time.

AHHHHHH!. Listen this restaurant would be relly great if it had different managers. The food is either right or miss here but the severs are wonderful. i went there last night with my girlfriend and bothof our steaks took forever. when we got them they were very fatty and not cooked even close to what we ordered. a manager came out, it wasz this goofy guy with glasses and just talked like and idiot. It seemed as though he was talking down to me. i mean, he manages a restaurant buddy. he thinks just because he has some power over the employees that he is big

. well i have news for you buddy, your an idiot

A truely wonderful experience. I go to Dakota several time per year for many different occasions. The food is always wonderful, the staff is quite knowledgable, and the management staff is always willing to go the extra mile to make the experience memorable.

Clueless. Went there and were refused service because we had an infant making 5 people! There were having a college night and would only seat parties of 4 or less for 3 more hours. This is in a place where all of the booths would sit 6 easily or highchair at any table. Told we could beg the manager for an exception but I refused to beg to spend my money there. Told them they could stuff it and I will never return and haven't. Too bad as food is decent but they are idiots as far as management is concerned.

Down and Out "Stake House". My wife and I went there for our anniversary one year. It was the the first and only time we've been.

The service was HORRIBLE, the steak I had was about the toughest I've ever had. My wife didn't have steak and felt her food was "GOOD",not great but ok. We both felt the pricing on everything was on the high side.

stay away or bring a book. Several visits, same routine: After making a reservation and being told they try to seat within 45min of that time, we still waited almost an hour after our reservation time. Walk-ins are told there's a 2-3hr wait. (no, this wasn't track season) Food is overcooked, overseasoned, and overpriced. Waitstaff is unattentive. Steaks are gristly and fatty, even filet mignon. I've given it several tries because some seem to think it's great, but I'm not wasting any more money or time. It used to be better when they first opened, but now they believe their own hype and don't give a hoot anymore.

Dakota-licious. A great restaurant! The salad bar is amazing. They have so many things to choose from, they even have my favorite thing to put on a salad, peas! You will not belive how good it is until you try it yourself.
