Always warm and accommodating. A trip to Val's is not a trip to the hairdresser, it is an adventure. Even if you enter dreary, weary and decades out of style, you will emerge with Style and Attitude! the worst hair cut. I have no idea where these nice reviews came from. Why I did not experience the same? the worst hair cut I had in years, laterally, and I did wait as well. I was so sad about my hair for quite a while. I realized that price doesn't necessarily come with quality.

Valerie Hair Studio. I had been wanting to change my hairstyle and hair color to something more trendy, that would really look spectacular. After going to a few different salons and being unsatisfied with the results, I was getting discouraged. They did not seem to understand what I was looking for or they did not have the experience to cut or color my hair in a way that would enhance my features. A friend of mine recommended that I go to Valarie’s. When I arrived, I had a basic idea of what I wanted, but was also wanting my stylist to give me a good consultation and assist me in making decisions. That is exactly what I got. My haircut is the best cut I think I ever had. You can really tell that a stylist knows what they are doing when your hair falls perfectly before it is even styled.

And the color was beautiful! Since I do not consider myself very good at choosing hair colors and highlights, I left most of those decisions for my stylist. I just asked for a brownish red base color and highlights that would be noticeable, but not overdone. The coloring was perfect. Very modern and unique. Just what I was looking for. I really feel good about how my hair looks. And when your hair looks good, you feel good.

I recommend Valerie’s to Everyone!

Best ever. I had my first experience at Valerie's last Friday. It was far more that I expected in every way. The service was friendly & efficient. The salon itself very relaxing & beautifully decorated. And finally, I got the cut I have been looking for. Perfect for my hair texture & the color was perfect. Valerie's is definitely the place to go if you want to look as good as you can look. Love it!

At a loss without her. Val has been doing my hair since before she opened this salon. I am a native to the capitol district area and when I moved to California I was at a loss without her, every year when I come back east I go see her and tell her to do what ever she thinks would look the best on me (short of going blond which is my personal preference parameter), and I always love what she does! I always leave the salon feeling like I look the best I could possibly look. I love Val's work, she is truly an artist.

Right on time!. My experience has been very pleasant. The service is personal and professional. I appreciate the fact that if your appointment is scheduled for 10 am, you are sitting in the chair and being taken care of at 10 am.
