I 100% agree with everyone's reviews about Ruthie. My apt was running a little late and she came up to me multiple times apologizing. Other salons would have me sitting there and wouldn't explain themselves. The cut was perfect and she would let me leave until every curl was in place. Very excited to see the new shop! Will recommend to friends and families.

Ruthie & Nico are amazing!.
I've never received such great service anywhere else - I look forward to visiting Rumors each and every time, as the staff provide a very relaxing and enjoyable experience. I appreciate the careful attention and great service I receive from Ruthie and Nico - they are unmatched!

Ruthie was GREAT!. My teenage daughter had gotten a bad haircut from another salon. I did not want to take her back there for a fix so I read through customer reviews on the internet and found Ruthie. She evaluated my daughter's hair and took her time blending the hair so that she could once again wear it down instead of hiding it by pulling it back. My daughter's hair is long and she wanted it to stay that way. Ruthie took a minimal amount off to blend the layers and framing around her face. What a difference it made! I, too, made an appointment for my hair with Ruthie! Thank you again!

Professional, Personal, Perfect!. My hair is color treated and very difficult to manage at times - finding a salon/hairstylist who can provide me with a nice style that's easily to manage is often hard to find. I'm so glad I booked an appointment with Rumors -it's a great place to go, whether you're wanting something new or a simple update. The staff will make you look better (and feel better) than ever before! I left the salon feeling revived and confident, positive that I would return. I'm looking forward to visiting again - everyone at Rumors was fun and personable, and the atmosphere was energizing after a long day at the office. Rumors, Inc. is high quality service - I'm telling you, if you're looking for a new style or, in my case, an update on your current cut/style, try the stylists at Rumors!

Loyal Customer No More.... Frankly, I have been a loyal customer since 2002. Highlights, color and cut every time. Initially, I loved this salon, but have weathered two bad renovations and a tremendous price increase. It got to the point, that despite the fact I was happy with my hair-the question remained "at what cost". One can only expect that the new salon construction costs will be subsequently transferred in some aspect to clients. When you are approaching the $300, it is really pushing it. $90 for a haircut is ridiculous. I loved Rumors, but feel that the owners have lost perspective. It is now a tremendously busy, stressed-out atmosphere which will cost you dearly-check your prices first. For those of you who were customers of Amber Nieckarz, she is now at Carleen's in Latham. Same great Goldwell products, same expertise, beautiful salon- relaxing and less expensive!

Quality. There was a time tha I had just gone to any place to get my hair and other cosmetic needs, then one day i went to rumors witha friend and now I can't imagine why I would go anywhere else

over the top !. Danielle was right on as usual today ! base color, highlights and a trim - hair looks fantastic ! Staff was happy and accomodating as always ~ looking for another reason to go back.... hum, maybe a mani and pedi :-)

Great Aesthetician. I had another great experience at Rumors on Sat. I saw the aesthetician Kira for the first time and I was very pleased. She was very nice, professional and knowledgeable! If you are in need of a facial, waxing, eyelash extensions or a make-up application, I would highly recommend Kira from Rumors!
