I HAVE LIVED IN BEMAN PARK FOR MANY YEARS BUT HAVE EATEN PIZZA ALL OVER THE COUNTRY AND I STILL LIKE THE NP`S THE BEST.ALSO THE WINGS , HOME MADE SOUPS THE PASTS DISHES AND THE WAIT STAFF. I HAVE COUSINS WHO USED TO VISIT TROY IN THERE YOUNGER DAYS, WHO EVEN NOW ALWAYS WANT TO GO TO THE PINE FOR PIZZA OR PASTA. ALWAYS GOOD FOOD AND A GREAT TIME. SIX * * * * * * FROM ME
Well... it USED to be good

Having gone to RPI for many a year....
Knotty Pine was rated the best pizza place in the area
We ordered delivered pizzas a few times a week ;-)
(and the little juke-box things on each table were cool...)
But after returning there for a few more master's degrees in the late 80's, I saw the place had totally changed. Well, it was fun while it lasted.
Apparently changing hands from a family that knew how to run a business, to one that does not is apparent.
Oh, BTW, Clem Zotto's direct relative used to drive around the RPI campus, (with two of his 'friends'), assaulting students. I was one of them attacked... I had him arrested for assault and robbery, and I had him prosecuted). It may not affect the food, but it shows the caliber of people.
best pizza!

A hole in the wall
by soopa28
This is your typical hole in the wall that happens to sell pizza. OK maybe not a hole in the wall, the pizza is cheap, cheap being the main word to keep in mind.
- Pros: Cheap
- Cons: Quality of food poor, ambience is poor
