In Short
City folk craving small-town atmosphere find it here. Formica paneling and model trains characterize this kid-friendly tavern. This spot serves upstate pizza at its best. Feast on the prizewinning Villager, Mexican or white pizzas, or fabricate your own with anything from olives and broccoli to pepperoni and sausage. No Alfredo or Parmesan pastas here, but sandwiches like a grilled Reuben, soups and salads fill the bill for the non-pie crowd.

I drove from California, dreaming of the delicious pizza I use to get at Smitty's, when I lived in V'ville. I have to admit I was very disappointed. The dough tasted like like a big old pie crust. The Fountain's pizza, in Albany, beats them by 3000+ miles.

We don't live in Voorheesville but over the past several years we kept hearing how great the pizza was at Smith's. Well they were right. And perhaps the most family friendly place I've ever been. if you live anywhere near Albany...check Smith's out!!

This small town restaurant and bar offers fabulous pizza, Sierra Nevada beer on tap, and a fun atmosphere for reuniting with old friends or meeting new ones (if there happens to be anyone you don't already know in this Village!) I highly recommend stopping by!
