In Short – Although primarily known for pizza and wings, this pub also boasts a loyal following of all ages that congregates at the lively bar. Some patrons catch up with their neighbors, some keep an eye on the ball game and others enjoy a drink while waiting for a table in the busy dining room. Selection of draft and bottle beers, house wines and mixed drinks are as inexpensive as the food.

very nice pizza

Went with a group of ten. Service was friendly and effiicient. Some oredered dinner and some sandwiches but most of us shared two large pizzas and two large antipastos. The pizzas were very good - sauce tasty, plentiful cheese and toppings. The antipasto had some great items: marinated mushrooms, sweet and mild peppers, meats and cheeses but the only greens were the white part of icebery lettuce. There was not enough dressing on the lettuce. We will go back because we enjoyed the pizza and the dry greens could be rectified by asking for extra dressing. Ying Ling on tap is another plus.

I have been going to the Purple Pub for years and always enjoyed my meal until last Saturday. I was appalled the last time I went there due to the fact that I had asked for my pizza to be well done and when I received my check I was charged an additional 90 cents for a ?Special Order?. I?m sorry I don?t like my pizza doughy and always order it that way. My daughter doesn?t like mayonnaise, would they charge us an additional 90 cents if I ordered her a BLT with no mayonnaise or ordered a hamburger medium-well? I informed them that I would not go back.

Hands down the best pizza in the country! Live in Boston and truly miss the Purple Pub! I highly recommend this place.
