Best to eat. Best place in Watervliet to eat. Everyone around should try this place. Cheap prices with amazing food. I must say their hotdogs are the best around. It's like Hot Dog Charlies only better ! Their meatsauce is amazing ; Cheese burgers ; EVERYTHING ! My favorite place to get a bite in Watervliet.

Local hot dog stand offers inexpensive hot dogs and burgers..
In Short
Since 1953, the "mom and pop" hot dog stand has provided fast personal, friendly service while continuing to serve sausage sandwiches and hamburgers. Prices will not burn a hole in pockets as patrons can eat like a king for only $4. Guests recommend the meat sauce, similar to chili and the tiny franks for 50 cents. Patrons can choose to eat inside this no-frills restaurant or on one of the picnic tables outside.

Cheap, good and fast. You got to see this place to beleive it! It is the ultimate hot dog stand. People from all over pulling up to this little joint and getting a bag full of hot dogs (with Gus's famous sauce.) and hamburgers. The hot dogs and hamburgers are small but tasty. They are also dirt cheap. This is the working Joe's pit stop. It's fun to see this institution that has survived for half a century by not changing at all. There is very limited seating inside so don't plan on a large group to sit down. Most order up from the window.

A Local Legend. Gus's is quite simply one of The Capital District's secret gems. Dirt cheap, great food, and a take out window.

hotdogs. Gus's has the best hot dogs and hamburgers you'll find anywhere for the very reasonable price. It's not the classiest place in the world but you can not eat atmosphere. Their Greek burgers are the juiciest and the best anywhere.

Gus's Is the best.... If your looking for cheap, delicious hamburgers,cheeseburgers,hotdogs,and sausage patties look no further. This is the definitive hamburgerstand in the tri-city area. Go their with 3 bucks leave with a full satisfied stomach. Old world charm, best burgerstand in the area!
