Tips for Bob's Diner

Decent late night grub. Pretty good place if what you are looking for is late night, cheap, filling, and if you have picky eaters with you. There's a little of everything served, and most of it is pretty good. Nothing really outstanding, but the price is right. My husband and I love it when we can't agree on where to eat out, or if we just don't feel like cooking and its late. He highly recommends their hash and their omelettes.

Worst experience at a diner ever. I'd rate this place zero stars if possible.

Where do I start....

Waited 10 minutes until asked what our group of four wanted to drink. Coffee came and we were given cream, no sugar. No big deal but it would have been nice to get a spoon to stir our coffee with.

Appetizers come out drenched in side sauces we had asked for, a little annoying but whatever.

Each of us four had our dishes messed up. Some of it was fixed, other items just straight up werent delivered, even after politely reminding twice.

When the server would swing by (I think we saw her 3 times and we were the only people there) it was all attitude.

Bill was messed up and overcharged so we brought it to the cooks attention because the waitress was still no where to be found. When he called out to her she shouted back "Can't you see I'm in a conversation?" and never came by. we had to have another server bring the check and make the corrections for us.

On top of that all of our food was server cold or under cooked.

The 4 of us are all understanding people as we too are in the service industry, just having finished a very long night shift at a local bar (all of us stone sober, it was a rough night). We are extremely polite to our waitresses, do not make special requests, and tend to tip very well.

All in all, the problems mentioned above don't even include it all, it was worse.

If you are looking for a good meal or at the very least good service DO NOT go to this place for either.

Diner serving breakfast platters with huge portions at blue collar, affordable prices.. In Short
Serving all-American inexpensive food, this 24-hour diner attracts a diverse crowd consisting of contractors, roadside workers and college students. Inside, the decor consists of real wood paneling, ceramic tile walls and old town photographs. Locals flock for the breakfast specials and the bottomless cups of coffee. For those with huge appetites, the "Hungry Man," plate consisting of steak, three eggs, two pancakes and home fries can appease anyone's hunger.

Bob's. The food is greasy, but very tasty, but not smokey inside (can't smoke). Service is average overall, prices are average overall. Small tables (fits only two comfortably).
