A down-home experience in the heart of Albany.. The Scene
Dating back to 1984, this friendly property boasts the distinction of being the first B&B downtown. The hosts, the Stofelano family, offer warm hospitality in keeping with the casual, comfortable atmosphere. The vibe here is small-town in a very charming way--just the sort of place to escape to for a relaxing, laid-back weekend.

The Details
The eight guest rooms are pleasant, and dark woods add a dignified touch. Artwork by local historical artist Len Tantillo adorns many of the bedroom walls. The intimate dining room feels as if it's in the house of a close friend, with a large window overlooking the residential street. Dining highlights include dishes such as wild mushroom clam chowder. And if you want to have your wedding here, this bed and breakfast can cater brunch afterward. There is a small meeting room on the premises.
