Steak off the old Block. Great Steak- Etc. Manager was very Polite, I will go back!!!!

Not the best. I went to the Butcher Block last week. Have not been there in awhile. Food was not great at all. Service was slow. Would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. Very poor for the price.

Great place to share a meal with close friends. Whenever my wife and I meet to eat with my cousin and his wife, we love to go to The Butcher Block. The food is always served the way we order and it is always top of the line. My cousin and I like our beef very rare and with little or no added spices. Our spouses on the other hand like their food with more "flavor".

Mike and I like the real natural flavor of BEEF. All four of us agree that this is our favorite local restaurant. The wait staff is always friendly and the food is always brought forth in a professional manner. We will continue to frequent the Butcher Block as long as it is open.

excellent. On a Saturday evening, friends & I were searching for a good meal in Albany and everywhere we went was over an hour wait. We drove past the Butcher Block and turned around & went back. THE BEST THING WE EVER DID!!!! The Hostess said the wait would be 15-20 minutes. It was faster, (I guess having a small party helped). The salad bar was amazing, the steaks were perfection and the service unbelievable. I now always make it a point to go to the Butcher Block every time I have to go to Albany. Get the business cards they are a great selling point. All my friends that have to go to Albany have now eaten there...

finest filet. I worked in Albany for about 24 months and ate at the Butcher Block when ever I could.

Being a native of south central Texas, I appreciate a, tender, juicy, good tasting srteak.

They had it. 1993-1995
