The Greatest Extra-Cheese Pizza

I grew up in Albany and frequented Little Anthony's about twice a month through high school. I still make a trip back everytime I'm in town. The pizza here is wonderful -- the dough is slightly chewy and the cheese they use is wonderful. Plus, after many years, Little Anthony's finally accepts credit/debit cards! Order an extra cheese pizza and sit in the booth next to the Proverbidioms poster (www.tebreitenbach. com/ proverbidioms.htm), and enjoy watching the twin Jackie Chan delivermen racing in and out the door. You can't beat it!

• Pros: Amazing Cheese, Locally owned, Now accepts Credit/Debit Cards
• Cons: Gets a little warm in the summer -- but what pizza joint doesn't?

Cleaning up

I have been stopping at Little Anthony's since 1990, when I worked about .5 miles down Central Ave. The pizza and heros where always great tasting and a BIG value. I nolonger work in Albany, but I did stop at Little Anthony's Sat. 2/8/03. I must say it looks like the entire restaurant had not been cleaned scince my last visit about 1 yr. ago. What a shame. I suspect new owners or managment . I don't know. But whoever it be , needs to clean-up now.
