Excellent. I am here every Saturday night for drinks and appetizers! Sometimes dinner. The atmosphere is great, food is great! Highly underrated! Pasta fagioli is like my grandmother's! I crave it all the time!

Old-world atmosphere and familiar favorites make this a great place for pizza and pasta.. The Scene
When Meryl Streep belted her heart out in "Ironweed," this restaurant was the backdrop. The stained glass windows and mythology-drenched murals contribute to the feeling of antiquity, while the dining room has an al fresco feel thanks to Cinzano umbrellas over the tables. For nearly 40 years this was an all-day, all-night cafeteria. Located close to downtown, Ristorante Paradiso still attracts a legislative following.

The Food
Start your meal with a traditional appetizer of beans and greens, available with or without bacon. The menu largely consists of traditional pasta and familiar meat favorites, but be sure not to overlook the thin-crust, wood-fired pizzas. Service is attentive.

Dish to Die For
The Mediterranean Paradiso pizza is miraculous, topped with mozzarella, eggplant, olives, capers and feta cheese.

Perfection!. The food here was delicious! The complimentary bruschetta was a nice touch to a great meal. The service was wonderful. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone who enjoys Italian food.
