The best thick pizza in Albany. This is the best pizza deal in Albany! Home made dough, sauce tastes great, a wide variety of toppings (try the stuffed pizza, it's the best) If you like thick home made pizza this is the place to go! The cheese slice is only $1.50 and is very filling. What a deal!

Best pizza in Albany. Easily the best pizza in Albany - and even better than the pizza you get in NYC and Long Island. Though I wouldn't recommend it if you're a thin crust person.

A Pizza Lover's Haven. Take it from someone who spent 4 years of college running back and forth to Sovrana's to refuel myself. This is some of the best pizza that I've ever had. Did I mention that I'm from New York City, the Mecca of pizza? Plus, as if things weren't great enough--slices are dirt cheap. You must do yourself a favor and try a slice.

The BEST cheap take out Pizza.. Very good pizza. Great cheap price. Great place to go after getting tanked at Peabodys.

special pizza. yes this pizza is delicious but the place itself is take out and otherwise lame. very special pizza, like focaccia. for a thick crust treat try pizza baron. it doesnt have much ambience (better to order in). Id specify thick crust. very delicious.

foccacia heaven. this pizza is more like foccacia, one slice is unbelievably filling. Also worth mentioning is Pizza Baron (cook to order), very homestyle, I recommend the thick crust pizza.

The Thicker the Better. Sick of all those pizza places around Albany that you go into, get a slice and feel like you have to order another to satisfy your hunger? Sovrana's has the thickest pizza in town. None of that NY style, thin as paper stuff. Sovrana's offers a wide variety of specialty pizza's that are great. My favorite is the baked ziti pizza. If your looking for a quick slice to go, they offer fast service at a cheap price. Only $1.25 for a slice of cheese that will fill you up good.

Best pizza ever!. Sovrana's is not only has the best pizza in albany but it's the best pizza ever! I live in Brooklyn and I have never had any pizza that comes close to Sovrana's.
