nowhere else to go? then go here. otherwise, don't bother.. HAH, CHEAP drinks? if whoever wrote the review under me thinks that $8.50 or more (on average and depending on if the bartender likes you or not) is a 'cheap' drink, they must be from some exorbatently priced city (the large city to our south, perhaps...?)... don't get me wrong, waterworks is an okay place to be on a friday or saturday, but the staff is choosey on who they serve first, the bar has a veritable monopoly on the gay community (with 3 bars to choose from now that phoenix is gone, and waterworks has the only true dance floor) and the clicky nature of albany's gay community, you'd be better off going to north pearl street and putting up with the straight people that might want to have a good time instead of listening to circa-1999 dance music with a bunch of snobby gay men.

i love to dance away the night,enjoy water works. water works has the best dance around! great drinks and people. good priced drinks too. that' s where to be.
