Rink fine, staff sucks

I was there with my family including a newborn. We got our skates and started lacing them up. I got nervous at first because I saw people blazing by on the ice. Sadly, it was the staff! They were blowing by a set of parents trying to teach their kids how to ice skate.

I go about my business while me and my wife take turns watching our baby and this large, heavy set guy with a shaved head who is wearing a staff shirt comes out of no where and sprays our baby in the face with ice. I pass it off because I was there to have a good time. He saw it happen and didn't even apologize.

Most of the time on the ice I was trying to get out of the way of the speed skating staff. What a bunch of irresponsible jerks. They were crashing into the side of the wall where people were trying to hold on so they didn't fall.

How embarrassing for them. When I returned my skates the same heavy set guy with a shaved head looked pissed he had to get up from social time to get my shoes. He didn't say a word even though I maintained good manners, "Please, thank you" NOT A WORD!

Get some staff that wants to make this place a family center and not a place where "Cool staff" run the place.

I am never going back.

Great Family fun in Albany Ny

This is a Public Rink with everything that you need. There is everything from the Skates to the food. I have been going to this Rink since I was a little boy almost 20 years ago. There hasn't been much change over the years, it is just a nice place go to spend some time with the family.... The Hot Chocolate is perfect after a hour on the ice.... There isn't much to say besides you can have a great day at a small price. and there is plenty to do after the rink, due to the location...It is in the middle of everything.... I don't work for the park or have anything to do with the park besides having some fun..... Hope to see you there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
