Good time.

Went there for New Years Eve 2009 had a great time and fee to get in was great. The only negative I have is the security staff. I have been in the security/public safety field for 15 years. I witnessed very poor handling of the public by security. There is a certain way you walk someone out or where you need them to go. Using choke holds and being hot headed is going to lead to someone getting seriously hurt or killed. I have seen people die from choke holds and head injuries. I am all for protecting yourself and fellow security members. Having the right training and being a little older than some of the young security I saw will help avoid future injuries and law suits. Having a use of force policy with training will protect you.

Not all its cracked up to be

Jillians is a two out of five at best. the dj doesnt play the best mix of songs, the bouncers wont let you dance with gurls after a certain time claiming he's kin, sometimes the bar tenders dont know how to make a particular drink in a certain area. jillians is good if you simply need to get out of the house i guess, but i mean its not poppin like that. gurl to guy ratio is bout 1 to 3.5 and most gurls out already have a dude. pool downstairs is coo, but noone really goes down there after 9 pm, so thats a bust if youre trying to have a session downstairs thats relaxed wit a couple of people. maybe its because im from a city thats always crackin, but albany has minimal to offer; perhaps thats y the reviews have been a bit "lenient"

This place is awesome from the adult arcade with bar downstairs to your regular tavern type restaurant and billards on the main floor and the dance floor upstairs! I love this place! What's great is you can fit like any occasion to it. They even have kid's parties! Its a huge building too so you dont feel crowded in or anything either.
