Great Pizza. This is the best pizza in the downtown area. I work across the street from there and regularly go there for lunch. Its a nice family owned business and the food is wonderful!!

In a Word--Fantastic...!.
My travel plans take me to NY's capital more times than I care to mention in any given year. When I get the occassion to go out for lunch and I want something easy and GOOD, I go over to Johnathan's Pizza. I grew up in Brooklyn and do not live far from Trenton so clearly I know pizza. When you step into Jonathan's you know your not in Pizza Hut, Papa John's and certainly not cardboard pizza Dominos. Your in a real, Italian owned, operated place a place that aparently has stood the test of time (I think its been in biz since the early 1970's). The pizza is hot, crisp and it does not have that "jar" sauce aftertaste. This is a pizza joint not a fast food restaurant. Your served quickly and the food is good. If your not from NY you will appreciate even more the color and charm of this Albany mainstay.
Ask for big Mike next time your there!

The food is authentic italian..
I loved the atmosphere, and each dish is cooked to order. Every item selected from the menu by my party was delicious, espically the chicken cutlet hero, and the pepper & onion pizza.
And the freindly staff enhanced the dinning experiance.

Phone # 518-463-5100. Jonathan's Pizza has been a favorite of mine for years, if you work in downtown Albany than you must take home or eat in one of the Best Pizza's Ever!!! They claim they brought their recipe all the way from Catania Italy. Who knows? All I know is that its Great!! Tx. Five Stars....Joe Marro 40 N. Pearl St S.S.D.

wow u r correct its great now they have a special $1.25 until 12 8 2009 can'tbeat that and lasagna for $3.89 wow what a treat!!! try it.
