It's ok for an after work drink, but the nighttime crowds are really obnoxious and it gets too crowded/loud to move/talk.

DO NOT GO HERE. WARNING - Do not go here! We had a tab going here and the bartender added three drinks to our tab that we never ordered. When we tried to calmly explain to the manager that we never ordered those drinks, he said that he's been doing this for however many years and that his bartenders never made a mistake. Without even listening to our side of it he had the bouncers forcefully trap us in the bar until we paid for the drinks that we never ordered. Beware of this place!

Bad employees. I'll write the same review i did for a previous website: Employees are rude and talk about customers behind their back. They also like to sit at the bar and get drunk during peak hours and then swear at customers and complain (specifically a brunette employee). very unprofessional i will take my business to one of the million other bars in the capital region. Overpirced drinks.

good place lousie service!. Beautiful Patio and great layout inside. The beers are good especially at happy hour but the service hasn't changed over the years. Even when its very busy they seem to have only one bartender on and good luck getting a beer even when its slow!!! There care in service is lacking. Sorry... still like the place but wish they had more attentive service for their customers.

Solid place, solid service. They have done a ton of renovations lately- the bathrooms are not in the middle of the bar, a kitchen is opening so no need to get food from down the street. The bartenders know their stuff, and its under new management. Always a good place to catch a drink on the patio, or go late sunday for the 2 for 1 drink specials.

Worst bar in Albany if your in your 20's. This tavern tries to be cool but falls short. The weekend crowd is filled with all those people you hated in high school. A real dive in disguise.

Avoid this place, WRONG PLACE WRONG TIME. The atmosphere is dull the FRIDAY SATURDAY night bartender is well You'll get a drink when and if he wants you to.

There are BETTER places that APPRECIATE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY.

Disappointing. Used to be cool... Now, not a friendly place.... Recently, I revisited Hollywood and found things have severely changed. The "manager" (BRIE)? drove my friends, and my co-workers away with her rude demeanor and terrible attitude.

As a former bar owner, I would recommend that upper management reconsider who they choose to represent their establishment.

tons of fun. I've been somewhat of a regular here for the past year or so, and it's just the kind of place you want be a regular at. Great contrast to the try-to-be-too-cool dance club scene - much more relaxed. That's not to say it's boring; it's just a much better place to hang out and and have a few (and maybe a few more) drinks with friends, and before long you know half the people that frequent it. Great place, fun people, fun bartenders, two pool tables and two dart boards, two floors, great music, great people. What more could you ask for?
