Special orders no sweat. Id like to say this is the only place that did a special order for several Tamiya 1/35 model kits and did not give us alot of grief. Order was instore within a week, and did not charge us shipping, pleasent and polite , I rate this shop Very high, Good prices as well. Charles

Helpful and polite, great service!. Very helpfull with picking out a RC airplane for my son and I, lots of acurate info, and great priceing! Was a pleasure to deal with. other area shops would not take the time with us. I rate this shop #1 for service!

Top Hobby shop in the albany area Hands Down. I have been buying from Adirondack for the past 4 years, and there service and prices are terrific.

Always ready to please and be competitive price wise. This is one of the capitol regions top shops if not tops. I would reccomend these guys to anyone. It just dosent get any better!

Cannot recommend!. Adirondack sells many items through eBay, which is how I encountered them. If my experience is anything to go by, I would avoid this place.



I made a purchase from the store's manager through eBay a while ago (where the store does a lot of its business), and afterwards we ended up in an e-mail discussion about who should leave eBay feedback first. It was a pretty silly debate, but in any case, because we had different opinions and each stood by our principles, we decided that we simply would not leave feedback for each other. So, no big deal, right?



I thought that was the end of it, but five months later (yes, five months!), out of the blue, he left me a very nasty negative feedback. I was shocked to discover that even though we had agreed not to post feedback because of our different opinions, he went back on his word and left some very nasty and rude

comments almost half a year later.



After this incident, I looked at his feedback profile more closely and found some very disturbing things. For example, I saw he had a recent transaction with another eBay member who simply commented that it had taken a few extra days to receive his item. This person obviously wasn't upset about it because he left positive feedback. However, Adirondack wrote back a very insulting response, calling the buyer a "cheapo" and a "novice." And after receiving positive feedback from him too! In another listing, Adirondack used profanity, calling an eBay member an "a**hole." This sort of behavior is obviously not appropriate on eBay, or anywhere online.

After seeing this store manager hold a five-month grudge, verbally attack people online, and use profanity in a "community" online marketplace, I cannot recommend this store. I have not visited the store in person, but after my experience, I will stay far away. I can only imagine if I purchased something there and had to take it back for some reason. Please be careful with this business.
