I have used Shampoodle for over a year and have had nothing but great experiences. My dogs love it there, and they are well-treated and always come out looking very clean and well-groomed. The fact that they are not caged means a lot to us. They're also less expensive than the chain stores. When you have multiple pets, this really adds up! Once, there was a mix-up in scheduling, and they went out of their way to accommodate getting both dogs in before a long car trip - having clean dogs made a 17 hour trip more pleasant!!
Pros: Convenient, no cages, they love my dogs

If you are looking to wash your dog yourself, Shampoodle does provide adequate accommodations. However, if you are looking for a place to have your dog groomed, I would not recommend this place anymore. I used to be a frequent visitor of Shampoodle to have my dog groomed. The groomer they had there did an amazing job. Her quality of work is the only reason I over looked the rude attitude of the owner, and continued to go. I recently went to have my dog groomed, and the old groomer was gone. I went ahead and had my dog anyhow, despite my better judgement. When I picked up my pooch, I was severely disappointed. The quality was poor, the groomer was rude, and almost seemed to push me out the door after she got my money. I have talked to other customers, and they agree that the quality it not at par with what it used to be, and that they place has gone downhill. If you care about your dog, are looking for good service, and a friendly face DO NOT go here.
Pros: Do-it yourself has raised tubs. Grooming, you don't have to leave your dog there all day.
Cons: Rude owner, incompetent groomers and poor customer service.

You pet does not go in a kennel at all. Most pets are done in 1-1.5 hours, one on one attention for the entire grooming precessat not extra cost. T hey do cats too!!! To shave a cat is only $50 most other groomers chage $60. Small dogs are usually only $40. They also have a bathe your own dog feature for $10.00. out their web site at -dirtydogdirtcheap- you fill in the blanks.
Pros: no kenneling, pets are done one on one and very quickly. VERY LOW STRESS AT NO EXTRA COST!!!
Cons: NONE!!
