OMG, i cannot see how people can say something bad about JHA. its the best place ever for boys, girl, adults, childeren. being a teenager riding there i love it !!!!! ♥♥♥♥ & by the way i rode during an adult lesson (not in it just during it) & they DO NOT treat adults like 13 year olds !!!!! its a great family stable, & the horses & other animals are treated wonderful! & yeah by the way animals like humans tend to get sick once in a while ! its okay its normal! the horse just like the owners & workers are really nice. the horses are wonderful to ride too! its a very safe barn & the sand is soft incase you do fall. so if uwant to take your child mom dad or anyone to ride, bored, or lease from a GREAT, WONDERFUL, SAFE, FUN, TRUSTWORTHY stable JHA is the place to go. & i'll nvr wish to leave. ♥♥♥♥

Pros: hello it rox !!!!!!!!

Cons: nuthing, just the parking is tight SOMETIMES. like when we have fun shows there.

As an adult and a parent, I find JHA both enjoyable and educational for not only myself but for my daughter as well. The barn upkeep is always at its best. The tack rooms are in order and it is very easy to find everything you need in order to tack each horse. The ground in the rink is soft and is good for an easy fall. As in every sport that you do there is the possibility of an injury, however, they take every precaution and safety is first. The girls there taught my 7 year old daughter how to bring in her own horse from the paddocks and tack the horse all by herself. They taught her the importance of picking the hooves and brushing out the horse thoroughly. They not only taught her but refreshed my recollection since it had been over 15 years since I had been on a horse let along tack one. They show the children it is not easy to ride a horse and it takes work and determination. My daughter was shy and held back speaking to anyone I introduce her to. At the barn she was around so many children not only her age but older who were willing to take her under their wing and help her come out of her shell. The horses are loved and well taken care of. Each horse has their own personality and each barn owner knows each horse’s unique needs. The lessons range from beginner to advanced. The lessons are well priced and each rider gets the individual attention he or she needs in order to get the best experience. I would definitely recommend these stables not only for boarding but for a parent to a child who is interested in general in horses and who are interested in riding horses. They welcome all ages, even the adult beginner, as I am.

Pros: staff is excellent to work with, horses are well kept, treat everyone with respect (even if you don't own)

Cons: parking can be tough if it is a busy night or day.

They run the horses down to the ground. They don't give lessons good. this place i DO NOT recamend they treat adults like they are kids and the horses are sick most of the time!

This barn is absolutley amazing. The lessons are so well priced and the group lessons are a blast. You get to be with all your freinds and it really feels like a family there. All the JHA girls are so nice and happy to be there. The owners are great and are always adding things to make the barn look so nice. The horses are so nice and pleasent to ride. The levels of riders there range from beginner to the best out there at the shows. And everything in between. The borders there are so nice too. i just loved everything about this barn. i loved the expirence and hope to stay there for as long as i ride horses. i even hope to bord my own horse there.

Pros: everyone there is amazing and the horses are great.

Cons: what could go wrong?

This barn is alot of fun. Lessons are exceptional & always alot of fun. They have instruction for every level of riding. From young riders who do beginners/short stirrup to junior & adult riders interested in the bigger jumper classes to the rider who likes to ride for pleasure & wants to be safe on their mount. They are serious about top notch instruction without being "stuffy". The owners like to see everyone in their barn succeed & are willing to help their trainers by making sure they have appropriate horses/ponies for their lesson program. I've been riding for over 20 years & have shown @ many barns both locally & out of town & this is a nice, well maintained facility for the price. The owner is always doing work on the facility. You should come check out our facility!!

This barn is just one awesome barn! Its full of fun and the horses are awesome..they are great teachers and theres horses of all levels. and the new trainer is amazing with many years behind her belt. the owners are awesome and they would do anything for anyone. JHA is a amazing place and its family friendly. They are all about the love and care of horses and of course FUN!! hence the name Just horsing around riding academy! i love this place more than anything and i would go any where else!!!!!!!!!!

The instruction is not correct and taught my a lazy instructor. Horses are worked to the bone. adults are treated like a 13 year old teenager.

Pros: decent barn and overall care except feeding
